This book is divided into three parts, so we will be splitting it up into three modules of 8-week classes.
In Part One: The Circle of Eternity, Joel lays out “the basis of mysticism,” going over the all-important preliminary distinctions that are a vital preparation for awakening to divine consciousness. He covers topics that will help us successfully orientate and navigate our time-bound consciousness toward the “other shore” of eternity. These topics will include:
- how to make the shift from “this world” to “My Kingdom”
- how to release the miraculous power of God in our lives and relationships
- discovering that our life is really the Life of the Source, which is now flowing as our life.
- overcoming the “dread and fear of death”
- learning how to live as God-consciousness
- knowing the difference between reality and illusion
- rethinking karma and reincarnation from the perspective of The Infinite Way
Joel considers our temporary experience of “humanhood,” from birth to death, to be nothing more than a “parenthesis in eternity.” The purpose of this book, and this class, is to help us erase that parenthesis and usher us back into the direct experience of cohabiting with God in the here and now of eternity.
