A Shared Space for ACourse in Miracles Students
We invite our fellow A Course in Miracles students to use this page as a place of shared reflection and connection, engaging together in what the Course calls “the beautiful lesson of communion… until communion is.”
If you are not yet a student of A Course in Miracles, but feel drawn to explore its teaching and discover whether it resonates with you, you are warmly welcome to join us here as well.
A Beautiful Lesson of Communion
…if you use [the body] only to reach the minds of those who believe they are bodies, and teach them through the body that this is not so, you will begin to understand the power of the mind that is in both them and you. If you use the body for this and only for this, you cannot use it for attack. In the service of uniting, it becomes a beautiful lesson in communion, which has value until communion is. This is God’s way of making unlimited what you have limited.

Hi John and Everyone,
I have been listening to this (https://youtu.be/cRBh-l_l5sM?si=O-TEBZVfde3frD1A) Keith K video for several days now. It is very rich, and wonderfully radical. Here is one way it caused me to see things differently:
Starting at minute 54:20, he explains that doing nothing includes no mantras, no following your breathe in meditation. He says that even that is ego doing.
I am very interested in comments on that.

Doesn’t the calibration assume a material reality of self? Conflict with Hawkins’ other revelations?
-
No, the calibrations are based on the one reality of God’s love. According to Hawkins, the further away consciousness is from the Source the weaker and more limited it becomes. The less blocks in awareness, the brighter and stronger it becomes. At the bottom of the scale total: ego-centricity, at the top: oneness with Spirit. To your point, it is a “muscle test,” but what is being tested is the nonmaterial consciousness that instinctually responds to the nonlocal, nonlinear fields or levels of perception.

Hi everyone,
I just sent an email to our entire mailing list regarding my struggle over whether or not to participate in John’s new book study, The Eye of the I. I included a link to the video clip of my discussion with John, regarding Dr. Hawkins. It is appropriately called “My Tantrum Over Hawkins…”. My fellow Course students will know what I mean by that.
I thought it might be useful for others who wrestle with his work. In case you missed the email, here is a link to the video.
Namaste, dear Mighty Companions

Hi Everyone,
I just want to share the link to a wonderful Ken Wapnick video on the Manual for Teachers: Sections 5 – 13. Click here for this 4-hour workshop on the manual.
I am listening to it for the 3rd time, and I expect to listen many more times!
Mary-
Wow, Mary! What a great find. Usually YouTube has only shorter videos of Ken’s talks. This is rare. Thanks for sharing!

Mary please feel free to remove this remark…. I logged in both on my phone and now I’m on my iPad. And I made a comment. And I see it says two comments were added. But I don’t see any of the comments. I don’t see my comment or anyone else’s comment. I only see the comment box where I’m commenting right now.just fyi as most people use their phones and iPads these days. And Mary, thank you for all the work you’re doing to support on this website. Xoxoxo liz

SPEAKER AND SERVER
by
Noelle SterneThey also serve who stand and wait.
—John Milton, “When I Consider How My Light is Spent”She speaks to thousands.
She serves thousands. She gets standing ovations.
She gets nodding approvals. She laughs with vigor and punches the air
to make her point.
She smiles gently and sets the plates
demurely down. She profusely thanks the people at the end.
She discreetly thanks the people at the end.She depends on audience spiritual hunger
and goodwill.
She depends on customer physical hunger
and goodwill. The people leave with nourished mind and spirit.
The people leave with nourished mind and body.Who’s to gauge and say she serves so well?
Who’s to judge and say she serves so small? She loves by speaking.
She loves by serving. No judging no requiring no comparing.
All for Sharing Love and Glory.-
Noelle,
This, to me, is a beautiful representation of God’s love manifested in our Sister, as She is seen through the eyes of Holy Spirit, or Christ vision. I thank you for sharing. It is Inspired, filling me with the love of God.
In gratitude, my Mighty Companion,
Mary -
