Dr. David Hawkins was a prolific author, an acclaimed psychiatrist, and perhaps, most of all, a modern day realized teacher. Aside from his research into kinesiology as a means to calibrate the levels of consciousness from Ignorance to Enlightenment, his contributions also included one of the keenest understandings of how to transcend the limitations of the ego, end suffering, and awaken as the Self of God.

It was through the pressure-cooker of a major existential crisis that Dr. Hawkins broke through the barrier that divides the two domains of the ego-self and the higher Self. After becoming firmly established on higher ground, one could say, “holy ground,” he shifted gears and became a prolific author of books that are able to communicate and impart this world-altering, ego-dissolving, experience to his readership.
